Erwan Jacquin, class of 1998

Erwan Jacquin is an entrepreneur who created and developed two startups in the field of maritime and digital simulation, in close collaboration with Centrale Nantes. He went on to hold senior positions at Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore as CEO of the subsidiary BV Solutions, then at CMA CGM as Director of R&D and Innovation.

He is now a consultant with his company Impulsia and an expert for investment funds, companies and institutions in the fields of maritime, digital and innovation.

Strongly committed to the issues related to energy and environmental transition, and an expert in the maritime field and modelling, he is leading the project to create the Institut MEET 2050, Maritime Eco-Energy Transition to bring together the entire national ecosystem (energy providers, ports, shipyards, design offices, equipment manufacturers, ship owners, classification and certification companies, laboratories, etc.) around a joint transition programme consisting of projects ranging from research to demonstrators and the deployment of solutions.
