How are you feeling on graduation day?
My family’s here so I’m really excited because I hadn’t seen them in a while.
Proud and thankful as all the hard work finally paid off.
I’m feeling proud and happy.
It's like a dream come true for me. I would like to say thanks to my professors.
I’m really happy to be here, to see all of my friends again and celebrate together this big achievement.
After two years of hard work I'm feeling very, very great.
I feel grateful, I feel accomplished and I’m ready for what’s next.
What's your best memory of Centrale Nantes?
The first week I came to Nantes. I discovered new things… all the world I would say of Centrale Nantes.
Probably when I first arrived and I met everyone, that was amazing.
Late night hours and the hard work.
Getting together to study with my friends. That was really exciting for me because we tried to discuss all the classes, all the courses, but also getting together outside of school to hang out.
At Centrale Nantes there’s always something happening, events that connect us to the locals, giving us experience of French culture. I have had several such opportunities here, where strangers became friends, and friends became family. It’s not just a social event, but a life-changing one and I’m forever grateful to Centrale Nantes for giving me that.
What are you doing now/next?
Currently I’m working as an Industrial Process consultant at Dassault Systèmes in Paris.
I’m working as a Maintenance Coordinator on an offshore wind farm.
I’m doing a PhD in Centrale Nantes. I did my final year internship here and then I was offered a PhD position. I didn’t think twice to take it.
I’m thinking about a PhD. I’m actually applying.
Right now, I’m applying the skills that I gained here to make an impact in the electric mobility field.
Right now, well, I started a PhD. I’m doing it at Centrale Nantes as well in the LS2N Lab.
Currently I’m searching for opportunities as a researcher or for PhD positions.
Any advice for future Master's applicants?
Try to enjoy, make new friends, not just all the focus on academics.
Embrace it, go out of your comfort zone, meet people, open your mind.
Enjoy your classes, have fun, but also study a lot because you never know when you’re gonna need all that you studied.
Look at it and apply here because they’ll have a great life in Nantes.
Focus on your studies. Learn French. Au début je ne parle pas très bien français, maintenant je parle très bien français.
Enjoy the opportunity, work hard and enjoy harder.
Always say ‘yes’ to challenges, ‘no’ to procrastination and ‘maybe’ to that second croissant.
